いつのまにか、折りじわがついてて、
広げてみたら、この通り！

でも 慌てることはありません。
すぐスチームアイロンと、アイロン台、そして
小さくて軽い目の文鎮を出してきてください。

It is often happened that your Moku Shibori scarf
is creased while you put it in the drawer for a
while and beautiful shibori shrinkage is spoiled.
To recover the shibori shrinkage,
just take your iron and light paper weight.

アイロン台の長い方の辺に、
しわがいった部分をまんなかにして
スカーフをおき、
一方の端に、軽い目の文鎮をそっと置きます。

Take the creased scarf of the ironing board
(put the creased part on the center) and
put light paper weight on one edge gently.

ここが大切なコツです。
しわがいって広がってしまった箇所を、
指で本来の巾になるよう縮めぎみに、
そっと整えます。

This is a key of using iron.
Set the creased and loosened shibori shrinkage
by fingers shrinking them in the original breadth.

アイロンを持つのと違う方の手で、
文鎮と逆の端を文鎮と反対方向に
軽く押さえます。

アイロンの温度設定は絹ですので、もちろん「高」。
注水してアイロンが充分暖まったことを確かめて。
丁寧に丁寧に、浮かしがけして行きます。

火傷とスチームのぼたもれに、充分注意してください。

While you are holding the iron, pull the other
edge softly to the outward with the other hand.
Set the temperature 'hot' when you ironing on silk.
Put water into the iron and when it is ready,
put only the steam gently and carefully without
attaching the iron to the textile.Please be careful not to burn yourself and not to spill drop of water on the scarf.

アイロン面をスカーフ面からおよそ、
1cmくらい浮かせて、
たえずアイロンを持つのと逆の方の手で
絞りの巾を元の通りに整えながら、
高温の蒸気だけをそっと、
ゆっくり移動しながらかけていきます。

決して急いではいけません。
火傷とスチームのぼたもれに注意してください。

慣れない方は他の絹生地で試してから、
当てられることをおすすめします。

Keep the iron about 1 cm above the textile.
Please remember holding textile as the original
form with the other hand as you attaching iron.
Just put hot steam on the textile and move
the iron slowly.
Just take time and be careful not to burn
yourself and not to spill drop of water on the scarf.
If you don't get used to using iron on silk textile,
it is recommended to try other silk first
before shibori textile to see how it goes.
